Harry’s Tyres commenced trading in 1952 as a tyre fitment centre, in Potchefstroom, South Africa. Over the years, the business has grown from strength to strength with business operations expanded to include an import / export division, a state of the art truck tyre retreading factory, a fleet tyre management portfolio and even a fully accredited training programme.
GROWING BUSINESS
Although import and export operations slowed down during the Covid 19 pandemic, this aspect of Harrys Tyre’s operations is once again at full capacity.
Harrys Tyres currently export locally manufactured tyres to 17 countries and continue to expand their global reach.
Imports include A and B grade casings for re treading, as well as used second hand OTR and AGRI tyres.
SERVING THE COMMUNITY
In 2022, Harrys Tyres implemented a Learnership programme, giving high school graduates an opportunity to earn while they learn and gain industry recognised qualifications.
